A Timeless Elegance: A Chapel Wedding

As the morning light gently kissed the historic chapel grounds, the air was filled with the excitement of a new beginning. The day started with capturing the radiant bride as she made her grand entrance, stepping out of a pristine white Rolls-Royce.

Her graceful presence perfectly matched the grandeur of the chapel’s gothic architecture, creating a breathtaking scene straight out of a timeless romance. The lush bouquet of white roses she held complemented her stunning gown, which flowed elegantly down the chapel steps.

Inside, the groom awaited with a smile of pure joy and anticipation. Their first look was a private moment filled with emotion, set against the grand stone backdrop of the chapel. Their eyes sparkled with happiness as they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day, hands eagerly clasping.

The ceremony was a beautiful blend of tradition and heartfelt vows, illuminated by the intricate stained glass and the warm glow of candlelight. As they exchanged rings and sealed their vows with a kiss, the space echoed with the cheers of their loved ones.

Post-ceremony, the newlyweds stepped outside to the cheers of friends and family, ready to embark on their journey together, with the iconic Rolls-Royce waiting to whisk them away to their next chapter. The happiness on their faces was evident as they paused for a moment at the chapel’s entrance, a reminder of the day’s perfection.

Our journey through this wedding was filled with moments of beauty, emotion, and the timeless elegance that the chapel so magnificently embodies. Each image captured tells a story of love, legacy, and the start of a new life together.

The Ceremony: A Union Sealed with Vows and Stained Glass

Under the watchful gaze of colorful saints immortalized in stained glass, the couple exchanged vows in an atmosphere thick with emotion and grace. The chapel, a stunning backdrop with its vibrant red walls and the organ pipes reaching towards the heavens, reverberated with the solemn promises of forever. It was a moving scene, one where every whisper of “I do” echoed against the grand, historic architecture.

The Celebration: Joy and Elegance in Every Moment

Following their vows, the newlyweds and their guests celebrated the union with jubilant smiles and loving glances, filling the chapel with an air of festive joy. The bride and groom, radiant and overjoyed, shared a moment of laughter and tender whispers by the piano, surrounded by the warmth of rich reds and the intricate beauty of the chapel’s stained glass windows.

A Walk to Remember: Love in the Aisle

The day culminated with the couple walking hand in hand, their path lit by the soft glow of aisle lights, leading them towards the grand exit. This walk was not just a transition from one place to another but a beautiful journey into their new life together, witnessed by friends and family. As they paused halfway, the stained glass cast a kaleidoscope of colors upon them, blessing their new beginning with the hues of history and hope.

Each moment of this special day was captured with the aim to not just preserve memories but to tell a story of love, commitment, and the beginning of a lifelong journey.

The day unfolded with timeless elegance, as the groom, in his classic black tuxedo, waited excitedly outside the chapel. His smile was infectious, clearly reflecting his anticipation and joy. The bride, radiant in her exquisite white gown, soon joined him, gracing the historic steps of the chapel with poise. Each step she took towards him was a moment captured in time, the lush bouquet in her hands a perfect complement to her stunning dress.

As they stood together, the grandeur of the Rolls Royce beside them only added to the opulence of the day. The couple’s shared glances and tender smiles inside the car were moments of quiet intimacy, a beautiful contrast to the grand setting awaiting them.

Inside the chapel, the couple exchanged vows under the magnificent stained glass windows, with beams of colored light casting an ethereal glow on their ceremony. Surrounded by family and friends, their union was a heartfelt celebration of love, each photograph capturing the profound emotions and grandeur of their special day. The vivid red backdrop of the chapel’s interior, alongside the historic architecture, framed their joyous moments beautifully, making each image a testament to their perfect day.

These moments, frozen in time, tell the story of a day filled with love, elegance, and a touch of historical grandeur, each one a cherished memory in the making.

And a highlight video:

Kirkpatrick Chapel, established in 1873, is a historic non-denominational venue located on Rutgers University’s Queens Campus in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Designed by architect Henry Janeway Hardenbergh, the chapel was built in memory of Sophia Astley Kirkpatrick, whose estate funded its construction. The structure exemplifies High Victorian Gothic architecture, featuring New Jersey brownstone and notable stained glass windows, including pieces from Louis Comfort Tiffany’s studios. Originally serving both as a chapel and the college library, it has transitioned over time to host various events such as weddings, baptisms, memorial services, lectures, and concerts. Engraving class years into the chapel’s stones has been a graduation tradition since 1876. Today, Kirkpatrick Chapel remains a cherished landmark, reflecting Rutgers University’s rich history and architectural heritage.

The Calm Behind the Camera

About Me — But Really, It’s About You

The most meaningful wedding photos never come from stiff poses.
They come from the quiet laugh you didn’t think anyone saw.
The look on your partner’s face during the vows.
The warmth of your people all around you.

I’ve been doing this for over 30 years — and I still get nervous before every wedding.
Not because I’m uncertain, but because I know how much it matters.

After photographing hundreds of weddings over the past few decades, I’ve learned something simple:
The best photos happen when you feel fully present.

That’s why I work calmly, behind the scenes — guiding when it helps, then stepping back when the real moments unfold. I’m always anticipating what’s next, so you never have to think about a thing.

My goal is simple: to help you relax, feel confident, and walk away with photos that feel like you — not a filtered version of someone else’s idea of perfect.

Most of my couples say the same thing:
We’re so glad we didn’t have to worry.”
