I spent my early childhood in Russia, with short stops in Rome and New York before my family finally settled in New Jersey. All those moves taught me that home isn’t about a place — it’s about the people you love. That’s why photography, for me, has always been about connection and legacy.
My great-grandfather owned a portrait studio in Moscow, my grandmother hand-colored prints, and my father ran photo labs in New York City. I grew up watching people bring in film and leave with memories they could hold onto forever. That’s where this love of storytelling really began.

what inspires me
I’ve been married since I was 23, and my wife is still my best friend. Together we’ve raised two incredible sons, Dean and Alec, and built a home filled with love, laughter, and a small zoo of pets — two dogs, two cats, and two parrots (who all think they run the place).
A few years ago, I lost 75 pounds — a journey that taught me patience, discipline, and the power of small steps. When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll probably find me traveling in my RV, chasing new roads, and enjoying the freedom of the open road.
I’m a quiet extrovert, a coffee lover, and a lifelong tech geek. I’m drawn to classic films, WWII history, and the rhythm of street photography in NYC where the light and the people always surprise you.
