Your music should sound like the two of you. The songs you argued about in the car, the one your grandmother requests every year, the track that empties the bar at 11 PM.
Your DJ is with you the whole day: ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Every set is mixed live, reading the room instead of running a playlist built six months ago. No wedding-mix autopilot, no dead air between moments.
The night stays focused on you, not on the DJ. No games and no over-the-top talking. The DJ can handle essential introductions and important announcements when needed, but our service is intentionally not built around a cheesy, microphone-heavy MC style.
Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding.
Alex Kaplan Weddings DJ Client
Jack & Emily
Alex Kaplan founded this DJ service, bringing the same care, professionalism, and attention to detail that he brings to his work as a photographer and filmmaker.
Alex does not personally DJ weddings. Instead, your wedding will be handled by a talented DJ from his team, someone Alex has personally selected, trained, and trusted to take care of his couples.
You will know exactly who your DJ is well before your wedding day, giving you plenty of time to connect, share your music preferences, discuss the details of your reception, and feel completely comfortable with the person who will be there celebrating with you.
You are not simply booking a DJ you found online. You are working with a team Alex has built and trusts to deliver the experience he wants every couple to have.
Discreet speakers, lapel and handheld mics supplied for your officiant and readers, plus processional cues timed to your walk.
A separate system in the second room so the music follows your guests instead of leaking through a doorway.
Music from the first course to the last song, cued to your planner's run of show and mixed live rather than left to a playlist.
A shared portal for the must-plays, the maybes and the do-not-play list, plus two planning calls to lock it down.
Professional sound for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Backup equipment on site and a backup DJ available for every date.
He played all of the English/Polish/Punk Rock/Rock music that we requested and we had a blast! We hardly left the dance floor all evening! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Alex and his team for your event!
he blew us away!

We gave the DJ a pretty good idea of what we liked and he took it from there. The music was great, the transitions were smooth, and everyone had such a good time.
